The short version
I'm a full-stack developer based in Dublin. I mostly build with TypeScript, React and Next.js, with Node.js and PostgreSQL on the backend.
I care about two things in particular: getting the logic right, and making the result easy to use. This site is a small example of both.
Where I am right now
I'm in my final year of a BSc (Hons) in Computing and Information Technology at CCT College Dublin, graduating in May 2027. I'm looking for graduate or junior developer roles starting after that.
In summer 2024 I interned as a software developer, migrating ERP modules from Zend Framework to Laminas and building responsive UI for customer and employee portals. It was my first time working inside a large, long-lived codebase, where every change has to keep things running for the people who depend on it.
From Santa Catarina to Dublin
I grew up in Rio Negrinho, in the south of Brazil, and moved to Ireland in 2023 to grow as a developer and see a different side of the world. Rio Negrinho is a small inland town known for its furniture factories and cold winters, so the Irish weather was less of a shock than people expect.
What I like building
- Interfaces that feel alive: small details, smooth motion, things that react to you.
- Logic you can see: visualising algorithms and data so they're easy to understand. Try the Lab.
- Tools people actually use: fast, accessible, no unnecessary complexity.
You can see what that looks like in practice on the Projects page.
Off the keyboard
When I'm not coding, I'm probably watching football, or playing it, usually 6-a-side on the astro a couple of nights a week. I also run, lift and swim, and I'm working on my latte art (the swan is next).
I've supported my whole life. The Verdão is where the green on this site comes from. Brazil gives it the gold and blue, and Ireland the orange.
